Thankfulness to the extreme

As you can tell I didn't maintain my daily thanks blog, but it doesn't mean I wasn't thankful!  It means I was out of town and didn't take my laptop....so I couldn't blog!  Keith and I were able to take a trip to New York to visit some friends and then to New Hampshire and spend Thanksgiving with my sister and her family.  To say I was thankful doesn't even touch the way I feel.  It was a blessing to get away, relax, see some awesome sights and spend extreme time with everyone.  We really had an amazing time!  I was especially happy to see our friends new baby...he is so cute.  We had a ton of fun with them...walked the streets of NY until I thought we had walked the whole state.  Ate some amazing food and shopped for some great gifts for the kiddos...big and little.  After our visit with them we took the train to Boston and spent the day there with my sister and her husband.  We ate fish and chips at a 'quaint' little pub in downtown Boston...on a cobblestone street....wonderful! They live in NH so it was a short trip home after our day out.  I can't put into words how much I love spending time with my sister...she lives too far away!  We can have a ton of fun together...it never gets old laughing with her.  Her daughters were happy that Uncle Keith finally came for a visit and he was happy to see them.  It had only been a few years since he had seen Ami`, but 11 years since he had seen Caiti, she is all grown up now.  We also got to meet their boyfriends...both are very cute...one is a hugger, the other isn't...the hugger got extra brownie points for the great good-bye hug he gave me when we left. 

The trip home was uneventful....except that we sat in the seats in front of the exit row on our first flight and after take off realized our seats wouldn't recline....4 hours of sitting straight up....not good. 

We are happy to be back in our house...ready to see our Peoples Church family tomorrow. 

I am thankful to the extreme for good friends and my over-the-top-awesome-love-her-so-much sister and her top of the line family.

What am I thankful for today? 

The ability to laugh at myself. 

Seriously I had one of those days where I was

doing crazy, dumb things.

 I could have gotten frustrated and annoyed,

but instead I laughed...

really I laughed! 

It helped!

So go ahead and have a really good belly laugh.  You'll feel better!

Giving thanks today for the change of seasons! 

I love to see the colors change and fall mums in bloom. 

Change use to be a little scary, but now I realize it only means 
something new is coming.

Giving Thanks!

Today I am thankful for my community group that meets each month at my house.

I love having these ladies in my life; they make it so much more fun! 

We have dubbed ourselves the Divas and do our best to live up to it! 

Talk about a good time with good friends, that is what happens at my house once

a month. We are growing in our relationship with Christ, as friends 

and in our roles as women of God.

We have a 'secret Diva' page on facebook that allows us to share

our needs, give encouragement, shout out praises and laugh and have 

good old fashioned Diva fun.

I am blessed  to have these women in my life. 

We are Divalicious!

Giving Thanks!

Today I am thankful for family time.  I love our 'get-togethers' where the

little kids are squealing, running, playing hide and seek

and the grown ups are sitting back and chilling. 

It is great down time....and awesome togetherness.

Giving Thanks!

Today I am giving thanks for God's Grace (His unmerited favor), that has

allowed me to grow past who I was and into the person He designed me to be. 

  I am growing into that design everyday.

God wants us to realize His very best for us!

Today I am thankful and over-the-top-blessed to be the wife to Keith. 

He is the most amazing man I have ever known. 

He is not only a handsome guy (actually he's HOT), but he's kind, compassionate,

gentle, smart, funny, loving and a great provider.

I am thankful he chose me to be his wife! 

Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God.

Giving Thanks!

Today I am thankful for God's provision....He provides for us in so many ways,

but today I am talking about being thankful for financial provision. 

I recently went from working full time to

working part-time and He has shown me He is faithful to take care of us. 

I have not missed one dollar of the decrease I took in pay!

He is providing! 

Jehovah Jireh-my provider..the Lord who will see to it.

My God is AWESOME!

 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Thankful today for time with my beautiful daughter. 

 It was crazy, busy time, but is was time!

 Loved having her home for a few days....missing her already

as she prepares to leave tomorrow.

Today I am thankful and 'over the top' blessed to be a part of Peoples Church in Oklahoma City.  We have been attending, serving and growing in God through the ministry at Peoples Church for over 8 years.

Lives are being changed, we have been changed!

Giving Thanks!

Thankful for Fridays!  I was recently able to go part-time at my job so this is a day off for me.  It is also a day off from pre-school for Jaedyn.  Never know what you will find us doing on this day off.  Sometimes it's the library, shopping or hanging out with Aunt Christy and Liam .  Today, we are  hanging with Mommy & making homemade playdough! Wonder what color and scent it will be!
