Peace. Provision. Joy. Spiritual growth.
I prayed for change.
God said 'do it'.
I wavered in unbelief.
God was patient.
I wavered even more.
He continued to speak 'trust me' to my heart.
I wavered even longer.
I think at this point he had his arms folded across his chest and was tapping his foot!
I continued to read and pray...kept hearing the same thing...'trust me'.
And..
I did!
Not sure who was more relieved...Him or me!
But, I can tell you that I am trusting Him...and my heart is happy.
I love the opportunities that He is allowing me to have.
Step out in His will, with faith in Him and not in yourself.
Take your eyes off what you can see, and trust in what you can't.
I am happily trusting God in this new 'adventure' in our lives.
He is providing beyond what I could have ever hoped.
That is faith....believing for what you can't see or understand.
That is trust...having confidence (HOPE) in Him.
Hope!
Blessed be God, he heard me praying.
He proved he's on my side
I've thrown my lot in with him.
Now I'm jumping for joy
and shouting and singing my thanks to him.

Your description of God waiting patiently as you waited to trust him reminded me of what Pierre du Plessis said today (paraphrased)...that we don't ever want to put ourselves in the position of working on God's last nerve. I'm glad you stepped out!
